Got little man a pheasant hunt for Christmas and the weekend we were set to go was when the roads were all iced up and we couldn’t make it to Kansas! Had guide trips and tourneys every weekend after that until June so switched gears and came back to Paradise Plus in Buras LA. What a day! We had our limit of reds on ice in about an hour and tossed em back for a couple hours and we’re back on the trailer by noon! Caught 50-60 redfish if I had to guess! Little man has a blast and so did me and grampy!! After em again in fhe morning then head back home!!  What was size of that n little man is holdin, looks at least 30in. iam ready to go south myself, Went to Venice years ago with 3 friends, they knew the water caught good numbers of reds. My biggest was 40in. Dang near spooled my reel. Whaata blast!!!!

We didn’t really measure or weight any of the big ones but we probably had some 30” fish or close! Day two we caught 25 by 1030 and hit the road!! Kept a couple from day 2. Fun trip! Will be back next year hopefully!

I thought this is a crappie fishing forum. Get those trash fish off this forum please. Lol !!! Nice haul sir !! One of these days I’m going to go do some red fish fishing. !!! This is a crappie conservation post. Every day Slew doesn't fish for them is a big sigh of relief for the crappie!
