Looks like no traffic. That's my kinda road.

very little traffic on Alaskan highway....maybe meet a car every 15 minutes or so..a trading post every 40 miles and small town every 200 miles.....very relaxing drive and scenery is so beautiful you're never bored......

I suspect you always pay attention to your gas gauge while driving up there!

Did you ever come close not finding a gas station

it was never an issue....my Honda that i drove got 30 mpg which gave me a 450-500 mile range plus there is a trading post/convenience type store every 40 miles or so....small town with motels/restaurants every 200 miles or so.....wife and i carried a cooler with fruit/granola bars for breakfast if motel didn't offer free breakfast,we would eat that probably half the time,rest of time we would got a nearby restaurant for a real breakfast....we carried sandwich supplies so we would just pull over at a scenic spot and fix sandwiches for lunch...evening meal,we would find a restaurant....we spent 5 weeks on that trip we ate at a lot of Denny's restaurants because it seemed like they always were located near the motel we were staying at.....
