Looks delicious! I heated my BGE up higher than normal by accident last week. Lowered the temp to 650 and cooked the ribeyes to medium-rare (I normally cook them around 500). They had a nice crispy outside and good red center. Cooking time was of course much shorter. Tasted excellent! The ribeyes were pretty thick. I don't think it would work well on anything less than 3/4 inch.
The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

Kroger had Tbones on sale. I rummaged through the packages until I found one that looked like Porterhouses. Had one for lunch and it was very good. Most of the packages looked like bone in strip steaks.

Most of the packages looked like bone in strip steaks. I do the same when tbones are on sale. Find one the wife can get a filet off of and I eat the strip! Won’t pay for choice bone in strips though!
