found these x2 batteries from batteries bulbs plus they are 100 AH over the optima blue tops i been running that are 75 AH both are group 31. any info would help me decide what to put in my new boat i told dealer i will provide batteries since im going to run 3 lithiums on trolling motor i want to run two group 31. One dedicated to electronics and one to start battery. im not very proficient in battery talk so is the Amp Hours the thing to look for here?

oh and im sure this may have been discussed in the past so dont beat me up to bad folks.

It is a great battery! Been using for 5 years. Currently run 4 fish finders (Solix 12 / Helix 12 / Garmin 8612xsv / Garmin 7610xsv), Livescope and PS22 with no issues.

Had one and must say for a AGM it was impressive but not near as impressive as the Ionic 125a lithium I replaced it with.

The X2 is a 100ah battery and is a great battery but you have to remember you only get half of that rating with a conventional or agm battery so in reality you're only getting 50ah. If you bring a conventional or agm battery below 50%, it is "considered" a dead battery even though it still has a charge. A lithium can be brought down to approx 10%. Some companies say you can bring theirs down to zero but studies show, bringing a lithium below 10% does negatively affect the life of the battery. The X2 is a "Beast" but it doesn't hold a candle to my current Ionic 125ah battery. I won't go back.

Have a Blessed Day,
Mike

I have an X2 for cranking and 3 100 AH Relions for trolling, could not be happier with this set up. I run two 16 inch graphs, no problem.

I ran one in my old Phoenix, had issues with it and they replaced it. Four year warranty and one bad azz battery. When I need a new cranking battery this will be my choice.

I use it for cranking, 2 solixs, and a livescope. It’s been great, would buy again.

The X2 and the Odyssey are the best dual purpose battery out there in my opinion. Can't go wrong with either. They heavy but strong as it gets outside of lithium

I'll be the first to say that I'm lacking in knowledge of batteries.

But I will share my experience.

I purchased a new FXR in 2020 from Fun & Sun and they rigged it with their in house batteries.

I run (3) 12" Hummingbirds and (1) Garmin Livescope unit.

Never had a problem running all 4 units all day on this set up.

Purchased an X2 this winter just to make sure I didn't have issues on the water with the old stock battery.

I might get to about 1pm now before my battery gets weak, Livescope doesn't have power to function, and the motor lags in start up.

I took the battery back to Battery Bulbs Plus thinking/hoping it was a bad battery. They hooked it up to their monitor and said the battery was good.

So basically, I have an expensive battery that doesn't handle what my old stock battery did. I believe it was a Champion, but I can't remember for certain.

Not to happy to say the least.
