The buses are here in Del Rio. We have no less than 10 charter buses by Motel 6 at all times. Not sure if for Abbot's trips or ICE? What ever the case we are paying.

Unless you live on the Border youll never know what its really like. Even with all the media coverage....because that coverage is seasonal....but the flow doesnt stop. you can only get a true insight either working it...or living on a border town seeing things like those busses you are mentioning. My buddy is BP....told me they send them on busses with a few hundred bucks. I got mad when I said that and said WTF....and he explained that would be the cheapest route to get them out of our hair. I guess if they just stayed in border towns theyd suck up even more resources than they do when they ship them out.

I drove 90 a lot when I was doing the truck driver thing, no idea how many times I was stopped and asked about citizenship, how many trailer loads of illegals I saw busted at laredo and other check points where only trucks pull thru.

not to mention I worked construction for over 30 yrs. and saw more than one while doing that.

the "11 million illegals" bs was just that bs, we have had well over 20 million for over a decade due to inaction of all branches of law enforcement.

while we sit back and beetch we will have another few thousand come across because no one wants to do squat to stop them.

Have already. Who do you think is paying for these people to get here? The dems just embezzled 30 billion thru Ukraine to spend on whatever they want

I get real tired of hearing about asylum from these trans-Mexico "migrants".

By international law, anyone seeking asylum MUST apply for it in the first country in which they land. Period.

Any migrant going THROUGH Mexico to seek asylum in the US without APPLYING FOR and WAITING for an answer from Mexico is no longer eligible for asylum in ANY country, including the US. In fact, that guy probably landed in Honduras or somewhere else first, so he has to try there first, then Guatemala, then Mexico. Failure to do so cancels all future asylum claims.

Every news organization, news article, politician, forum post, etc. has this wrong. If that guy is walking through Mexico to reach the US, he is NOT an asylum-seeker and he should never be referred to as such.

Somebody has to be furnishing them food, drinks, and clothes. They sure don't come all the way up Mexico without eating and drinking.

I wonder how all of them got from Haiti to Central America. No one in Haiti seems to have two nickels to rub together, yet thousand of “refugees” some how got to Central America. With these people, we will be getting some of the worst of the worst.

Yes, and it’s a long walk all the way through Mexico, no way they are walking

We don't want them here. Send them to anywhere but here. These small towns can not afford them staying. The NGO here in Del Rio gets the funds from Bidens admin then they get a pass. If it were you, you would go to jaim for unlawfull entry into the US. Like you said if you don't work with it or live it (i've done both) it sucks with them hanging around. I have boycotted the big stripes on veterans blvd now since all they do is sleep, beg and create problems. They are absolutly worthless here.
