Saw an elite angler land a fish he was targeting with forward facing sonar and the fish was hooked in the side.

Since FFS is much like sight fishing, should the same rules apply to negate "snagging" of fish?

Not sure if I have heard any discussion on this topic

I was wondering if this would come up. I watched a bit and even rewound and sure looks like he sets the hook right into the fish. Clearly hooked under the belly. He even commented on how it bit but sure didn’t look like a bite on camera.

Winning tournament tactics.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

I'd lean towards not requiring "FFS" fish be hooked in the mouth, but I wouldn't be against implementing that rule. Tough to legitimately police that.

I assume this is taking about Brian Schmidt, only he knows for sure but just like the MLF Fork fish snagger only he really knows. You honestly would probably have to go to every fish must be hooked in the mouth like the rule in California.

This one will go 40 pages again and have some hurt feelings in the end....

My .02, someday soon we'll see rules around these tools / graphs.

No and it make no sense to imply the same rule on this as sight fishing. I have forward FFS and there is no way I could tell how the fish was hooked before I set the hook. Sight fisherman can see the fish literally pick up the bait and see how they have it in their mouth before setting hook

Was it the dude that looked like Jim Carey in the Cable Guy bathroom scene?

yes. if you can "see" the fish and the bait.. needs to be in the mouth. I have used it enough now and ran over several fish with a single hook while watching them on the scope. a treble would have snagged them. maybe if I start doing that, I can reach the status of multiple DD in a year.
