Sitting at the Ford dealer in Del Rio getting an oil change on the wife's F 150 diesel. Was just informed they had to send someone to Eagle Pass to get the oil. There is zero oil for diesel trucks anywhere in Del Rio. Eagle Pass is 60 miles away. Let's go Brandon!

I would be more pissed that they took my truck in knowing that they didn't have any oil for it leaving me without a vehicle.

F150 diesel?

If I was the owner of a Ford dealership and had to drive 60 miles to get oil for a customers car, I would blame myself.

I'm wondering if they just needed Motorcraft branded oil. 5w-30 diesel oil is fairly common.
I can get the Motorcraft oil in 2 days, a non Ford oil that will work tomorrow by Amazon.

They apologized perfumery and there will be no charge. Works for me. About the same as getting paid 30 an hour.

5-40 Rotella T-6 is liquid gold around here, it's a about as rare as a four leaf clover. I bought 20 2.5 gallon containers the other day from a local distributor, he said I better store that under lock and key.

How much?

The T5 blend is $18 a gallon here, it was $12 last time I changed it.

Synthetic blend is waste of money. Use synthetic or petroleum.

Diesel oil has been hard to find for a while. Go in to a Walmart and the shelves are usually empty. Tractor supply usually has some in 5 gallon buckets though for heavy machinery.

I use certified in mine. Buddy orders it and does my oil changes. No clue of cost.
