Never listened to them, but my oldest sister did, so I know who they are. They've been around forever...kinda like when Terry Dorsey retired, just the ending of an era. I hope he is able to have a long retirement, unlike Mr Dorsey. This is also like when Dick Segal retired from WBAP. I believe Hal Jay is still on there, though. My childhood seems further away these days. Yeah and Hal Jay needs to retire, 820 is my moring drive channel.

I think Segal wound up somewhere in south Texas around Cristobal, til he passed, but not sure.

Is Sam from Sales still a regular part of the show? They replay the old characters on Thursday in the last half of the 7 0'clock hour. They call it throwback Thursday and they do Sam from sales from time to time
