I checked BassForecast app yesterday. It claimed a 10.0 rating for Memorial Day. Supposed to be a really good day to catch some bass. My location was northeast Texas.

Have anyone fished yesterday on Memorial Day? How active is the bite? Was it even a good day for fishing?

Time has taught me that the opposite of that app is true, if it says its a 27 on a 100 scale, you better go fishing, if its a 96, time for yard work. I’m convinced those folks who do that app don’t fish

Got a 10.0 in Kite Surfing yesterday! But that was about it. Kinda hard to fish offshore with 35 mph gust!

It was actually a 10.0 rating on Sunday and Monday. I went out Sunday and caught some fish. All dinks though. I couldn't tell any bit of difference than a normal day, but I was aware of the 10.0 rating, which was the main reason why I went.

I had a good day, but it could have been miserable with just a simple location change.

I did get out Sunday to Lake Fork. Had a few missed bites, only boated one fish, she was an Over, however. She was right at 24" long, pretty thick top to bottom, but didn't have any shoulders... 7lb 15oz if I remember the scale correctly.

Apps that "help" you fish are actually apps to catch fisherman.

Fish are eating 24hrs a day. Find them and you will catch them
