Are there any fishing barges in the central Texas area? My step dad is getting up there in age and he just can’t do the back seat bass boat stuff. I know he wants to fish, but he ain’t got the metal for it any longer. I’d like to find him a place he can fish that is easily accessible and, preferably, air conditioned

Do y’all know of any on Waco, Belton, stillhouse, or vicinity?

Thanks.

CENTEX Sportsman's Club @(254) 295-6386 on Belton has a house. Don't know anything about it. Belton Lake Outdoor Rec area: https://hood.armymwr.com/programs/belton-lake-outdoor-recreation-area1 has a crappie house of some sorts as well.

Thunderbird at Buchanan had one years ago. Can’t attest to it still being there though.

Frank’s Marina near the Belton dam had a crappie house when I lived there. Also the Centex Sportsman’s Club in Morgan’s Point Resort on Belton as mentioned.
