Fished the LBL this past week with my buddy Jeff. We launched our kayaks on the east side. Fished about 3 hours and caught about 50 sunfish. Redear, Bluegill, and Hybrids. We also caught three bass. The sunfish were in the 5 to 9 inch range. The bass were all in the 2 pound range. Fish were all caught using small lures and small crank baits. Chartreuse/Black was the color of choice. We fished from 10am till 1p. Traffic was a mess going and coming back. Always a good time fishing the LBL.

Nice post Curtis. I have a couple of fishing spots just south of Austin. You are right the traffic is not only a mess, it is a HUGE MESS!  Side Note: IH-35!

Great report Curtis...One advantage to Fayette is that the traffic at 4 am on I-10 is not that bad...mostly just me & the truckers. I-35...now that's another story.
