The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our annual Open tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard last Saturday May 21st. 23 boats came out and had to deal with heat and of course windy conditions. The fishing was good as 16 of the 23 teams brought a limit to the scales and there were four bags over 20 pounds. The final tally had the Robinson brothers, Chris and Nate coming out with the victory with a great bag that weighed 26.13 pounds! They also had big bass of the tournament with a 6.80. Clark Crenshaw and Roddy Bieber weighed four for an adjusted 8.25



Eugene McBride and Tyler Austin had three for 9.28 and also helped with registration Saturday morning. Thanks boys!



Johnny Morale and Joe Shipley had three for 10.49



Tyler and Landon O'Connor weighed a limit for 14.04 that included a 6.39 kicker



Great to see Justin Garrett again! He fished with Tripp Roberts and had five for 14.15



James Crawford fished solo and had 14.60 and he and Shellye helped with weigh in too!



Brian Brooks and Steve Parrish had five for an adjusted 14.88



Jay and Garrett Browne had five for an adjusted 14.90



Hubbard veterans Keith Taylor and Chadd Dearen had a limit for 15.25 that included this 6.34

Bo Dupree comes out every year. He fished with Joe Thiebaud and weighed five for 15.30



Jason and Jace Fagan weighed five for 16.40 with a 6.46 kicker



Chris Semchenko and Rick Cruz had a solid limit that weighed 19.55 with a 5.73 big bass



Proving that blind squirrels find acorns was the team of Chris Atkinson and myself with five that weighed 19.75 for fifth place



Finishing fourth fishing solo was James Sharp with a limit for 20.51 with a 5.81 kicker



Third place went to Adam Vesely and Jason Borofka who weighed five for 21.73. Their bag included a 5.56 anchor



Second place went to long time Hubbard hammer Jeremy McLeroy and Cody Stewart with a great bag that weighed 24.42!

Here are your winners! How do you follow up a 32 pound sack on Tuesday night? With a 26.13 sack and another win on Saturday. Well done to Chris and Nate Robinson!



They also got big bass with this 6.80 beast. Congratulations!
