I don't think I've ever used the word nigh in a sentence, except for this one.

For a second, I thought it was "God is High."

Well isn't Satan somewhere below our feet?

God is with us at all times!
He created us in his image with free will. It is our our responsibility to use his guidance to save our souls and mankind. When we turn our back to him evil fills the void, and too many souls are filled with evil.

And apathy is the work of evil too.

no...he is here on earth, roaming the earth, wondering to and fro - among other references “because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”…remember the Bible refers to him as the prince of the air and the prince of this world, he is not in hell right now…understanding he is a created being, that he is not equal to God as some religions have elevated him to, he is not omnipresant, or omniknowing… the hollywood depiction of the red devil with a pitch fork is a joke, makes people not take him serious… know that hell is not satan’s “office” where he works from… hell was created as the final holding place to torment satan and the other fallen angels, hell was not created for man, but as man rejects God, through free will, all those who are not born again will end up there eternally separated from God…

Hollywood? Satan has been depicted that way in various forms since at least the middle ages, both in Christian and non-Christian art, and long before the KJV of the Bible was first published.

Wow. Almost embarrassed to admit that I did not know the lyrics. Among the many things I miss from my AF days is the daily routine of Reveille, Retreat and Taps.

I’m sorry, “hollywood” was too big of a generalazation wasn’t it…LOL, in my post “hollywood” is being defined as any group or entity over the millennia that has produced “art” be it drawings, paintings or sculptures, or any theater art be it a play or movie production, by infusing actual Hebrew Scriptural referances with ancient mythical pagan gods attributes and other assorted folklore into the caricature of satan/devil; for the purpose of creating imagery to influance the viewers perception of the person of this confabulation, satan/devil; thereby confusing the viewer and creating doubt in the mind as to what is portrayed in the Hebrew Scriptures - the authority on this matter, potentially leading to mocking or not taking serious the reality/existence of the person of satan/devil… ultimately fostering questions like, but not limited to “Well isn't Satan somewhere below our feet?”… with all that said, apply this same logic to Jesus/God, and that is why it is soo important to read the bible for yourself and not take the worlds (*) interpratation…thanks Canino for the assist !!!…
