About to head out this morning, saw nice surprise on the table, it must of got in yesterday. I never tried hand tied jigs, thought I would try some. People think I am an idiot for using 1/8oz. They say its to big for Crappie. I can only imagine what they would call you for using 1/4oz. LOL
Yesterday was our first slow day since they left the shallows. We caught 8 really big ones and probably 10 short ones. What we lacked in numbers was offset by the size of the ones we kept though.
We gave up on the Crappie pretty quick and went looking for Bass. The Bass fishing was the best I have seen in years!
