We will be on Texoma this weekend along with the thousands of other people!! My buddy asked if fishing was any good to try an catch a few fish. How early are they schooling? We won't keep any, just pic and release!! Want to see if we can get his 5 yr old on one!!

You need to be there 5:30 or 6. It’s an early bite!

You have to be there at daylight. Fish are feeding on shad spawn shallow early. Once the sun is up the bite mostly over. It's kinda hero or zero fishing pattern lol. My last Texoma trip was last Sunday, got up at 330am got to the ramp at 6am it was blowing 25 to 30 mph so I took the boat back to Tawakoni. Lol. Good luck!
