I thought I'd hit the lake this morning before the nut jobs show up for the weekend but I was wrong. They are already here. Jet ski's with "older adults" hauling a$$ and splitting a group of guys fishing in boats. Wake board and ski boats coming within 25 yards and throwing a huge wake. A 17' aluminum john boat at speed and loaded with 7 full sized adults heading down the middle of the lake. All of this was at 0900 this morning. I cut my fishing trip short and came in. It's just going to get worse from this point on.

No lack of idiots this weekend on any body of water unfortunately. This is the one weekend I don't mind staying away.

I make it a rule, I do not get on the lake on Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. I let all those that want to fight the waves and boats and everything in between have at it.
