I do not understand why should have to have the digital coupon on top of the Kroger card ? I think the Kroger card should be enough credentials to get all the discounts Happy Memorial Weekend/Day to all.

Hooray for all grocery stores, and technology.
The digital coupons are usually what hold up the checkout line with the lady fumbling for her phone, then standing there clicking this and that while the checker and the people behind her watch! RockNRoll!!!!
...and now, I want some brisket!!!
...! Technology is great. I use digital coupons all the time. I can load them all from one place at one time online, give the cashier my Kroger card and it grabs the coupons for what I bought. I've never tried to get one coupon at a time at the checkout, and I don't remember ever seeing anybody else do that either. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I've never encountered it. Didn't know that was possible.

Same here PGR we load ours thru the Kroger website super easy and you can save a decent amount. Heaps better system than clipping paper coupons.

Went to our Kroger yesterday and found 4 in the meat case that were so full of fat I couldn't even bend them. The butcher had a grocery cart full of briskets behind the meat counter and he let me go through them until I found one to my liking.

I went to my local Kroger yesterday and they were sold out of brisket. Lady behind the meat counter said they got 100 boxes (4-6) in a box depending on brisket weight) in the day before the sale started, The briskets were put out on Wednesday for the sale at 1:00 AM and were sold out the next morning by 9:00. They did have a limit of five per person. She said it ;looked like a bunch of sharks in a feeding frenzy. She said she saw the same customers several times loading up 5 briskets in a cart, paying for them then they must have put them in their car and went back in to buy 5 more. They did this multiple times. I would guess theses might be businesses to resell or for a restaurant.
So between 1-9 AM they sold between 400-600 briskets and most went to the same people. She even said they should limit to one per rewards card so more customers could get the good price. She also told me they can only do what the "Home Office" tells them.

I do not understand why should have to have the digital coupon on top of the Kroger card ? I think the Kroger card should be enough credentials to get all the discounts Happy Memorial Weekend/Day to all. You have the discretion to pick coupons for only the items you use. I have no need of baby stuff, most toiletries, first aid, vitamins, cat food, kosher food, etc. It takes just a few minutes to download them to your card and then you never have to fool with fumbling for coupons at the checkout. And the cashier never has to swipe them.
Family is everything! Life is precious. We donโt have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

She also told me they can only do what the "Home Office" tells them. Our Kroger has a limit of 2 but I imagine you could go in and out as many time you want. The coupon says limit of 5. I'm sure they could program their computers to only allow 5 per card if they really wanted to but we all know it's about the bottom line. I got 2 briskets and 2 racks of ribs.
