Anyone tried the stuff? What are your thoughts? Do you guys add it to the bag the night before, the week before, or right before you put it on the hook? Does it do ok with salt on the exterior of the baits?

Reason I am asking is I have poured my own soft plastics for quite some time now. Always adding different attractant to the bags, pretty much as soon as I bag them up after the cure phase. I like upperhand scents and have good luck with them but this bait fuel got me looking at it now. Wondering if I were to put a little gel in the bag the same way if they would break down the plastics or if it is good just sitting there for awhile (sometimes a good while). Sometimes I go crazy on some colors and pour a ton of baits. Keeps me stocked for a year or two. When I get on a good kick, I will fill a 10x20 wall of plastics and then I will put it down for a good while until the wall is starting to look thin again. Thinking on the next run of plastics (coming up soon as there is lots of white peg board showing now) I would give this a try if people had good things to say about it.

Great marketing on FB seems to have helped catch a lot of fisherman.

This is what I was kind of thinking naturally. I always shy away from water based scents anyways because water and plastisol pouring don't mix very well. lots of bubbles or worse..... pop pop pop in the microwave. Upperhand is oil based and can be cooked in or added. I usually just throw some in every bag and a pinch of salt or lots of salt depending on type of bait.

Still curious on if people think its the real deal, but berkley bass scent has caught lots and lots of bass at half the price and been around for a good long time.

If you want to try scent...reach out to Don Harper on here. I've bought scent from him and soak some baits in them prior to use. They certainly do make your baits smell and the fish don't seem to mind.

My son got sucked in, he bought a bottle. He and I went out for about 2 hours last week. Both fishing wacky worm same color. Ended up even and all fish on the dink meter.

I think salt impregnated baits catch more fish than non. It might make a diff if you get sunscreen on your bait accidentally (that will turn em off) to cover that up.

If pros are actively endorsing it, it probably doesn't work that well and is designed to catch more fisherman than fish
