Whats the best town to live in for bass fishing thats within an hour from Stephenville? Whitetail leases would be a plus as well...
It could be right on a specific lake or just a central location to a few real good lakes.

Im an hour from Stephenville in Weatherford and have 7 lakes within 30-45 minutes. 45 to PK, 1 hr to Hubbard Creeek, 2.5 to Ivie. And some of the best deer hunting every west from here.

What Kind of work do you Do? I have ran ground up commercial construction in the past, but its been mostly residential remodel lately.

Brownwood is a little over an hour from Stephenville and another hour or so from the best big bass lake in the country.
Brownwood is a dump. The nice thing about Weatherford and you could look at brock too is the proximity to the interstate. 1 hour to PK, 30 to granbury, early morning you can beat traffic and be on fork in couple hours, ivie in couple hours, Hubbard Creek in hour and change, whitney hour and change, plus some smaller lakes that fish pretty good. And if you are in construction you are close to where stuff actually gets built. The hunting to the west is great if you can find a lease.
