No holding the fish out there for a better picture to put that in a better perspective I could’ve fit both fist in that fishes mouth that 10 wt reel would’ve fit in there real well. Bass are about my species of choice to target(just not on a fly rod normally). Big stick with me because I was looking for hybrids still managed about 25 of them and got a pleasant surprise of a bass. The way it was bulldogging I told my buddy man I snagged a carp. Definitely not a hybrid and then it came up and did a double backflip and Tail walked. Now that got my blood pumping when you could just barely see your hand in front of your face. Good stuff for sure.

Oddly three of my biggest bass on the fly now have come on a size 6 pink and white Clowser.

That’s a great bass anytime on any tackle! And thanks a bunch it was very unexpected. And the fact that we didn’t catch a bunch of hybrids that’s why we went just topped it off. Bass Have been on fire the last two months. I tend to hook into a good one here and there Two weeks ago on this one but that is one stocky thick bass! down home grill menu
