I can’t seem to find much on what size Neko Rig weight is appropriate for different depths. I’d like to get some tungsten weights. What’s a good weight that would cover up to ~20 feet deep? Thanks

Biggest factor is the wind. 0-12 feet on a relatively calm day, a 1/16th oz nail weight works great.
12-20 feet you could use the same if you have lots of patience.

Get heavier lead ones. That way you can cut down based on the conditions.

Why spend the $ on tungsten when you're just going to bury the weight inside the worm? Only a small portion of the top of the weight is showing so sensitivity shouldn't matter as much as it might for trigs and carolina rigs.

Thanks guys I’ll get 1/16 and 3/32 Not many tackle deals on amazon, but this is the exception. You can buy lead Neko and dropshot weights for really cheap on Amazon. Way less than any of major tackle retailers sell them for. I agree there is absolutely no need for tungsten weights for a Neko rig. Other benefit to lead neko weights is you can easily bend the lead weights. There are times that bending the lead just a bit will get you bit more. It changes the way the the bait falls. The fish will hit it on the drop because it looks like a dying shad.

Ahh good call on the lead instead of tungsten. I guess I’ll go for that instead.

Tungsten neko or nail weights seems like a good way to sling money into the bottom of the lake every other fish lol.
