Other than gas for the truck and boat... If you had $200 - $300 to spend on something...what would you buy?

That all depends on what equipment you have on the boat and what rod and reels you have, to start with. More information needed to help you with that decision.

maybe fishing line., I'd keep it, depending on what your drive that is 1 to 2 tanks of gas.

Pick a lake that is fishing good right now and just go have a fun trip catching fish with a friend or family member. Memories of good fun fishing days are worth more than anything you will ever buy.

EZ: I'm currently in a '08 Skeeter ZX225. I'm ok with my current rod/reel situation (don't tell my wife I said that). I guess I could always try something different, but not a priority. Electronics wise..I don't have anything too fancy, Garmin's (93s) and LS on the deck and console. Could do bigger there, but I'm happy with it for now. I love all the responses. Whiskey and Women, then the resulting comments made me LOL! My wife won't let me date though.  Keep the ideas coming...!

check your boat necessities, TP, first aid kit full, any meds you keep, phone charger, tow rope, flashlight and batteries, sharp knife, good pair of dykes, extra plug, dry clothes, ...all that kind of stuff. Then schedule a nice date night with the wife or girlfriend....
