Prayers up to that family-

I remember when this happened years ago, https://www.chron.com/news/article/Bee-sting-victim-out-of-ICU-2053190.php amazingly Mrs. Froberg survived a fatal attack.

I've tried to think of what would be worse, or relatively close to dying by fire.
I think this is close.

Blessings to those who pass.

always have some bendryl and/or an Epi pen available . My son had an anaphylactic response to food at 10 months old . I drove a 100MPH through city streets to get him to the emergency room .
He had stopped breathing about 2 minutes before I got there --- they saved his life . They advised me to NEVER be without either Benadryl or an Epi pen .
5 minutes later and my son would have died

Maybe a dumb question but would Benadryl work immediately since a pill?

not a dumb question at all . Benadryl comes in a liquid form and acts quickly to reduce histamine production which is what drives swelling of the throat and sinuses .
We were told it could be the difference between life and death for my son if we didn't have access to an EPI pen . We were also told that every parent should have Benadryl in all their emergency kits at home , school , cars , work etc.....

Yes. While dove hunting several years ago a guy shot a hive down in STx and those bees destroyed about 15 hunters , and chased the rest of us about 600yrds. Dude who shot the hive was lucky to leave that ranch alive, some guys wanted him dead.
Those bees were relentless and pissed, I can still hear them hitting my hat as I ran for my life.

Sublingual (under the tongue) administration is 90 seconds into the bloodstream. We keep gel caps/Benadryl Liquid gels out here. Works on aspirin for heart attack/stroke, ativan for muscle tetany or seizure, and then the diphenhydramine for anaphylactic emergency.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
