I am looking at purchasing a 2006 Sea Chaser (Carolina Skiff) 175 from a gentleman. Any opinions or experiences with them? I've done my research but can't find a ton except on the early 2000's models. I will primarily be using it in freshwater for Stripers and Catfish with my two young boys and wife, but will have the occasional leisure trip as well, as well as a little bit down at the coast from time to time. It's got a 2-stroke yamaha 90 hp outboard and the price is right. I'm familiar enough to look at the big ticket items (transom cracks, checking oils and lower unit, impeller, etc...), but any information would be helpful.

Well, I think Iām going to pull the trigger if no one has any red flags to consider. Thanks!

I don't know anything about the boat, but that's the most bullet proof motor ever built.

All composite construction with no wood so that is good.
