The IGFA just released their 2022 annual IGFA World Record Game Fishes book. A whooping 422 new IGFA world records were documented in 2021, with some amazing fish. Personally, I utilized my first few months of retirement to do some serious world record fly fishing.

My bucket list was to get my name recorded on the IGFA World Record Anglers of 2021 page. My 11 world fly fishing records held up, and I received the top spot in the new All-Tackle Length Fly World Record Category. It is amazing to have my picture on the page with some of the world's top anglers.
Whether fishing for Texas Waterbody Records, State Records or World Records, there are many great opportunities for you to get recognized with your name in the fishing record books. Hundreds of new records are posted every year.
