I think he kicked the door open. 4 wins in last year is damn impressive. Twice on your home lake is insane. I love seeing a guy like Lee make a great career and having success. Didn't come from money and just went out and made his dreams a reality.

I've never rooted for a person to win a bass tourney ever. This one I did. After
watching the video of him winning last year he seemed like a good guy. Awesome win!

I always wondered why more pro guys don't dominate their home lake in tournaments like this. I have thought the same. It must be dealing with the pressure to perform on your home lake around family and friends. Lee seems to thrive on that.

It must be dealing with the pressure to perform on your home lake around family and friends. Lee seems to thrive on that. I believe a big difference between others fishing their home lake & Lee, is that he has guided on the lake. I think the pressure of being a guide & having to put others on/around fish day in & day out is different than a guy just out fishing his home lake.
