you all know I favor the MLF events over BASS. But I didn't really know why myself until yesterday.

Sitting here looking at my computer screen at the Elite tournament at Fork with only the chosen 5 anglers with cameras. And no weight graphics like they had on day 1 & 2, why even bother. Yes, I could see spots they were fishing that I know, but without some kind of audio it is not that great. Those spots mean nothing to the fishing public who have not been to Fork.

Today, Sunday, once again sitting here now watching ten cameras with only a few comments from the anglers and no background audio from Zona and Sanders just doesn't cut it for me. And watching the anglers bounce the bass across the carpet is cringe worthy for me.

I have been a member for BASS for over forty years with a couple of gaps. Today like Thur-Fri-Sat I will be at the Elite tournament receiving and attending to the overs they bring to us on the live release boat.

I know the Lake Fork tournament is different from the rest ontheir tour because of the judges with scales and the opportunity to keep up with who has what weights.
And because it is no longer a Bass Fest or Toyota Texas Bass Tournament, they don't have to do it the way they did in the past. But they should since everything is in place to do it. For me watching if not for the rest of you all.

Coverage has been very, very good this week. I have enjoyed every bit of it. Have seen every angler on camera today so far too. Even got to see Brady Winans get a few minutes of screen time. If watching on BASS site I can tell who has caught what and when. It's up to the minute without having to change screens. They scroll weights and standings constantly on the TV coverage.
The TV coverage in real time of last 2 days of each event is great to mem

I like both tours and am glad there are different formats to watch. The more BASS does BASS and MLF does MLF then things will be just fine. They don't need to try and be just alike.

They have a separate app/website for weight tracking overall (BassTrakk) but there is audio/commentary. How/where are you watching?

The coverage I have been able to see (including the FS1 coverage) has been phenomenal!

I agree with Mark and David. This has been one of the best BASS productions I’ve watched all year. Picture quality, audio, commentary all excellent. Zona seems to have toned it down a bit thumb

They do that for most tournaments to build suspense so you’ll tune in to the weigh in. Not sure it matters for this format though.

I thought the coverage was great and I watched it all 4 days. I much prefer this over guys running around trying to catch as many 1 pounders as fast as they can. And I happen to like Zona, so he doesn't bother me... in fact he's entertaining to me.

Thought it was the best one yet. The coverage on FS1 was good and the 3 way battle at the end exciting.
