My dad drove up from the coast and I want to try to get him on some crappie at Buchanan. Usually fish whites there. Any tips, rough locations? Will try a few TPWD attractors of course. Main lake? Thanks a ton

cant help on BOOOOOOOOOOOcannon as the locals call it, but if u decide to go to LBJ instead Pm me.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Thanks I basically hit a lot of the TPWD markers and we found a few. And a big yellow cat. Dad was happy.

Thank you RNelson I really appreciate this. Not sure I saw it before we left that day and realized I did not say thanks.

No problem. Headed up this weekend to do some roofing work and start scouting for new areas. The lake is so low all my spots are more than likely out of the water.
