If you aren't paying someone to manage your money...... you ain't got money.

As I said on the THF, my portfolio value is down, which makes me sad. My dividends are reinvesting in lower-cost shares, which eases the pain a bit ... but still sad.

Booming stock market and cheap gas two years ago and the left will blame it all on their so called pandemic or Trump! They can print more stimulus money till it takes a wheelbarrow to buy a loaf of bread.

Lots of money to be made in a few years. These socialist / communist democrats will make those who have money to spend a lot of money in the near future. I feel for those that will end up in a bad spot economically because of poor voting / cheating...

Between Trump and Biden, they've printed something like 15 trillion since the start of COVID. WWII cost 4.7 trillion (in today's dollars). The fed made matters worse by keeping interest rates so low the only logical thing to do with cash was put it in the market or buy homes with the ultra low rates. The result: Mass commodity inflation and two giant bubbles. We can grouse all we want, but they've both got to pop. I've had a pile on the side and every Friday if the market is down I move in 2-5% of the war chest. VFIAX

Just wait until the other shoe drops. There's $1.76 trillion in student loan debt that may get "forgiven." If that happens the bottom really will drop out.

Yep. The payment deferrals have already acted like gasoline on the inflation fire. All that cash that should be going to pay down debt winds up flooding into the market making inflation worse. I really hope this debt forgiveness talk is just that.

Elections have consequences. America has too many useful idiots. They will still vote Democrat after experiencing the mess that’s going on right now. Even if they care less about world politics and issues such as abortion and don’t have any money in the market they are getting hammered to death with inflation.
