Soon. Probably in a couple of weeks. I have 2 weeks off the middle of June.

I fish with my son in law who lives on Tawakoni and it has always been one of my favorite lakes mainly because it fits my style of fishing. After fishing it for so many years I did finally learn that you can pretty much stay shallow all year but the last couple of years we have found that you can go even shallower than most people think in even 100+ degree water and still catch fish. If you want you can just put a flipping stick in your hand all day if you want but I still like fishing my Swim Jigs, Chatterbaits and Topwaters also.

Largemouth are shallow for me. Nothing over 3-4 ft. Swim jigs through the grass and flipping jigs in grass lines. Lake is up about a foot over last several weeks. Punch flooded bushes in 1-2 ft. Football jigs and shakey heads along the old bank lines work great if you want to drag something.
