You do realize you are far more likley to get myocarditis from COVID than the vaccine.

While the link of myocarditis to the vaccine is very real, it is also extremely rare.

It's not because they were vaccinated. It was because they were more at risk/immunocompromised and probably took more risks thinking they were more bullet proof. Omicron was more transmittable, but less deadly to the general population, but about the same level of health threat to the immunocompromised sector even with the vaccines.
