if anyone hears of someone repowering that has a 250xs (preferred but a 225 would work) I am seriously in the market.
looks like I trashed my 200 xri yesterday so no feeeshin for me till I can repower.

Chk the “other” site as well. have been, some of those guys are nuts on pricing. some want dam near what new retail was for one with 5-600 hrs. can't do 12-14,000 for a used 600 hr. engine.

Oh damn Hop...sorry for the loss. Was that older special motor you had on the ol' Champ? wish I had the johnson now, 225 at the prop. this one was original to the 202, 95 200 xri efi mercury. just put a used lower unit on it a couple of weeks ago, ran perfect fri and early sat. but shut down due to overheating which is not good at all. couldn't hear the alarm so ran it like I stole it till it shut down.

that one is a good deal, send to hydro tec and get the phase III on it and have a 350. lol texted him to see if still available, last msg was the 11th
