Took my boys fishing last night. Dropped boat in the water and started it, idled great for about 5 minutes to warm it up. Idled out of the pocket and went to go on plane it bogged down for a bit, finally got on plane and ran fine to our spot. I didn't go WOT, still in the break in process (got about 5 hours on it). Got to our spot and fished for about an hour. Cranked the motor, idled out to the boat lane and wen to go on plane and bogged down and engine shut off. Would start it, idle for a bit and shut off again. Would start, idle, put in gear and shut off. Had to troll back to the ramp over 2 miles away and hand load at dark. Pu the water muffs on it this morning and now it runs fine. Either I had air in the fuel line again (happened my first trip out) or I have a bad fuel pump possibly. This has been a frustrating experience the say the least. This sound like a fuel pump?
It did not throw any alarms. I am just at a loss on this.

Definitely sounds like a fuel issue. Is bulb staying firm when this happens, also I would check to ensure the bulb is installed correctly (arrow pointing correct way). Idk just throwing this out there. Guessing motor is brand brand new. Maybe take it into the shop and have them look at fuel pump?

History tends to repeat itself. I’d guess it’s air in the lines again.

it will run better on muffs than in the water due to no backpressure.
check all your fuel line connections for tight, any, ANY air gets in and it will do what you described. if you want to check fuel pump, unhook fuel line at most convenient place and run it dry (4 stroke won't hurt a thing), hook line back up and see if it will start it will take a min. to get fuel back up but if pump is working it will start.
best option is get it to your dealer and let them mess with it, won't void warranty that way.
