I’ve had a few people ask how and why Stubby and I clean fish and not cut through the ribs. I don’t cut through ribs because 1), it dulls the blades and 2), it is just an unnecessary step to do when trimming the fillets out. Everyone has THEIR way, this is just what WE do. I also strongly suggest the Mr. Twister blades. The blades that come with the Bubba knife are too coarse for slick fish. They do work great on crappie though.
