I know I will have a hard time if/when I ever need to get a new vehicle, probably won't know how to drive/maintain it. My newest is a 2000 Silverado bought in 1999.

2012 F150 with 97,440 miles on it. Still in very good shape.

Our fleet is a 2000, 2011 and 2021.
The last few new cars we bought was the 2021, a 2003 and my 2000.

Total of 6 new cars between me and the wife over 45 years.

2011 f150 and a 2008 fusion. Hope to get several more years out both.

2016 Mazda CX 3… bought used with 11,000 miles on it in 2016… now has 239,000 miles on it.

Did it come with a kayak rack or did you have to buy one?

I have a 2016 Laramie Limited 1500 Eco Diesel 4x4, and it's the best truck i have ever personally owned. I can't get over how much I love the RAM boxes on the sides of the bed, and the off white color.

Wife has a 2015 Expedition EL Limited 4x4. I can't tell you how much I dislike it. There is a reason Tahoe and Suburbans cost more. There is no comparison. Expeditions are garbage in comparison. It was a good deal and she likes it or I would trade her out of it immediately.

Traded in my wife’s 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a new Subaru Crosstex, and traded in my sons hand me down 2011 Toyota Rav 4 for a new Rav 4 AWD. He’s heading to Colorado for College. I have 4 more years in 2016 Ram 1500. ,

I keep cars for about 10 years and 120+K miles. My daughter’s car is already there but she won’t be getting a replacement until she graduates. I plan on trading it in plus providing a gift down payment and co-signing her note if necessary.
Will be looking for another vehicle in October for my son when he turns 16. Most likely will be a another Toyota 4 cylinder.

I drive a 2022 Chevy Silvarado LTD Texas Edition Z71 my wife has a 2019 XT5 Cadillac. I leave my 2012 GMC Z71 at the lake so I have something to pull the boat with when we take Mammas car.

2011 Z71 with 268k, 2017 Tahoe with about 67K, 2001 whaler 26 outrage with 600ish hours and a 2021 honda talon purchased last month. A denali 2500HD is next.

Our newest is a 2020 Jeep Wrangler with a 3.0 Eco Diesel in it. It is my wife's play toy, but I put more miles on it than she does because it gets between 28 to 31 MPG on the highway.
Other than that, she drives a 2011 Toyota 4Runner, and I am driving her old 2003 Toyota 4Runner until the truck market gets back to close to normal. Plan on getting 20 years out of it and go back to a truck as I sold my 2001 Chevy 1/2 ton to a neighbor.
If we don't get 15 to 20 years out of a new one, we don't feel like we got our moneys worth out of them.

Gravy makers ‘20 F 150. 18,000 gently driven miles. 3.5 eco boost in sport mode is quite impressive.

Then my work truck. 20 Ram 1500 147,000 miles of giddy up and go mule. Been reliable as far as hasn’t stranded me. But all the foo foo stuff is starting to fail. One window won’t go down, the seat balloon won’t work, stuff like that. So the search for a replacement has started. Not looking forward to this one bit.

2006 F-250 with the 6.0 powerstroke engine. I have had the engine bulletproofed and plan on driving it for a long, long time since it would cost at least $75K to replace. I am thinking of getting one of the new Ford Maverick in the next year or so. I never buy the first year of production for any vehicle since I'd rather wait to see if any issues are reported. So far all the reports on the Maverick are good so I will get one of the AWD models in either 2023 or 2024 as a daily driver.

Which one gets the best gas mileage?
My 2016 2.7 ecoboost got 21 if I kept it at 70 and around 19 doing 80.
The newer ecoboosts are supposed to get better mileage.

My 2017 3.5L ecoboost now gets 20.6 to 21 on the highway at 70 to 75. Drops to 19 at 80. Pulled a 1989 4Runner on a 16' flatbed and got 15.5 at 70 to 75 but dropped to 14.7 at 80. This is after new plugs and tune-up at 66K. Was getting 2 mpg less right before the tune-up, mechanic said these are hard on plugs and need to be replaced at 60K. Also this is with the 10 speed....

My 2015 is a 5.0 with the six speed. I can get 20 mpg at 70 and that's with the 3.55 rear end. Need to do plugs soon.

My EcoBoost was nice boost, no eco. The new 2021 truck gets 9 mpg unless I stay in it then I'm at 6 or so. If I'm honest, I'm always staying in the throttle. But, it's just a fun truck so I only drive it when the weather's nice, if it's raining (safety sake), or if it's an evening or weekend. It's for short trips for sure because 33 gallons just isn't enough.

P.S. I rarely buy new but this one was the exception. I like 'em with some miles on them typically.

2007 Silverado, mileage 64K, I figure I'll swap it out if I ever get 75K on it.

They're pretty even for mileage. They both get about 22ish on the highway at 80. The ford is much better around town. If I put no moonshine gas in either one, mileage jumps to 26-28. The ford pulls stronger and beats the dodge in a drag race easily.

It's a great car, and different for me.
I've been driving trucks and also an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle, which was the term before SUV) since the 80s.

I've give anything for my Dad to have his sight back, and his car!

The last vehicle I purchased was a used 2019 F150 (last year). It replaced my 2000 Silverado, which my son now uses as his daily driver.

Mine is a 2015 Tundra... 80k miles, great shape, hope to keep it a looooong time..

Cars are a horrible investment. I use to love to trade and get new ones, but they are just wheels that move you from point A to point B. Took me a lot of years to realize if my truck does what I need it to do, then I'm keeping my cash in my pocket and driving what I own.

My newest is a 2019 Camry that the middle son drives to school. I bought it as a commuter for me to work but then retired as the Chinese Plague hit. Mrs RayBob is driving a 2016 RAV4 with 145K on it. My 2007 Sierra 1500 has 180K on it and is due to be sold when my 2500HD Cheby gets here. Got a 24 year old Toy Tacoma in the barn that I use for my woods/farm truck. It's bulletproof.

I’m 17 and I drive a 1999 Acura that my mom got in dental school. It’s the same car I was brought home from the hospital in. And it’s the ugliest car at my school but I love it.

2012 Chevy Silverado 125k miles

I drive a 2wd 2011 GMC 1500. Wife has a 2021 BMW X3 we purchased before the prices went stupid. Both are good vehicles. My brother has a 2021 GMC 4wd that the trans is going out now and before that there was something about the camshaft that took a couple of months to fix. Bad drive train on that ride for sure. Pushing him and me away from GMC.

I bought my wife a new Murano, in feb 2020, got $ 9000.00 off mrsp . I don't think I will be seeing discounts like that in the foreseeable future.
I am driving a 2017 Silverado, I would normally be looking to trade this one in , but with current conditions , I may drive it for a few more years.
