Even though there were not a lot of overs, the weights of those caught was outstanding.
One of the ten's was caught by a guy in a kayak.
And then there was the dummy that brought in a hefty 23 1/2". He caught a big ticket and a DQ.

They had 7 DQs the first hour yesterday morning. I saw several people both Friday and Sunday morning leaving the boat ramp before 4:00. Rules state the lake is off limits until 4:00 am. Honesty is the best policy.

While I was out of the loop in the bass fishing world the past decade plus I still made a few of the big bass formatted weigh ins @ Fork. I don't think I went to a single weigh in where I didn't see the GW's write tickets for short fish. I went to one Sealy event and saw three if I remember right.

Honesty is the best policy. amazing how many don't bother with the rules, don put the slot rules very plainly in them and yet still folks got dq'd for slots. also noticed a couple of boats with 3 in them that were running on big motor with no lifejackets, one dude sitting in rear pedestal seat in a bass cat just cruising along. no idea if they were in the tournament tho.
