I’ll preface this by saying we do not watch much TV at our house, haven’t had cable or satellite since 2007. We do stream Amazon and have watched a couple series but are not avid TV watchers, maybe a movie a month. However, I caught an episode of History’s “Alone” series while watching the streaming channel Skills and Thrills and could not break away from the TV. So much so that I signed up for Discovery’s streaming service just so I could watch that first season of Alone. We are now halfway through season 7. I can’t believe this show has caught my attention. But nonetheless, we have been glued to it when time allows.

Anyway, this shows gets you to thinking what you would do if stuck out in some of these remote places to survive. I’m pretty sure I would not make it; I like food too much. Anyone else watch the series?

Yes!! Watched every season within a 2 week span I think. Some people on the show you think could be out there for a lifetime. Some try to just stick it out without eating and see if they can make it till they get cut.

Only piece I don't like is when they cut someone because they lost a certain percentage of their body weight. I get why they do it, but some lose more body weight than others no matter what they eat.

Are they alone? Is there someone filming it ever?

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

They're not even naked on this show.

If I could choose a rifle and a Sealy Posterpedic as 2 of my items I could go the distance.

Correct. A firearm is the great equalizer. Without it, I doubt I would ever sleep. I think these people are nuts myself, but I love the show.
