Your first problem was getting a Ford I own a used car dealership, and I have more problems with Ford trucks than all the others combined.

I had a Vietnamese shop a couple of blocks from the old house, they were good, honest, and had fair pricing. They had their service pricing on the wall. I have a shop here that has done some repairs for me but I have only used him twice.

manual for my 14 says air filter and seat filter (I guess if you have heated/cooled seats). check if yours has a cabin filter also, my yr. doesn't but I think they may have gone back to them after.
call planet 635 ford (used to be prestige) and ask them what the service runs, they won't screw you. it's where I got mine.

Your first problem was getting a Ford I own a used car dealership, and I have more problems with Ford trucks than all the others combined. I’ve owned over a dozen Ford trucks and 4 Toyota trucks. The 4 Toyotas had more problems then all the Forss combined.

Run a bunch of fleet. F150 and Super-duty for Ford. Also have Dodge and Chevy. Ford is the lowest cost for us to maintain. Stats bear that out. Every manufacturer we have has a few that are in the shop way too often. Our drivers either treat their vehicle great or drive the heck out of it. Not much middle ground. We rarely run more than 200K.
My current F150 gets oil change every 10,0000 and brake jobs. Thats it. Same for last three. All had more than 160k. Heaviest use pulling a 22 Ft Majek Extreme. Most I ever spent on one was $2,000 for repairs for its life so about $300 a year average max. This one has 175K and only a throttle body issue for $750. It’s going to have to last forever.

not sure about 30k but at 60K they did filters, plugs, adjust cam phasers, cleaned fuel system and injectors. They also reset adaptive learning on my transmission because it sometimes shifted weird in tow mode. Shifts smooth now and runs even better than before, ave 20.6 mpg all round without towing.

Fords at 30K are driven to the junk yard to recycle the aluminum. Better to get $150 than 0.

You have to take fords to the shop at 30K? My Chevy didn't see a shop until 200K.

If you want it to last a while here are the things I would do, not difficult at all to do yourself with a few basic tools. Drop the trans pan, change the filter, change the gasket, (I like to change to an aftermarket pan with a drain plug), refill old fluid, should be about 7-8 quarts of whatever the owners manual calls for. pull rear diff cover, replace fluid, should take 75w-140, if not, it might call for 75w-85, (I use a 75w-90 instead), use a friction modifier if LS. I replace the cover because it’s easier and I use a good oil resistant RTV gasket maker. Drain and fill transfer case, drain and fill front diff (should take 80w-90 or 75w-90), other things you could do is change oil if you’re due, grease ball joints, check the brakes, and look at the belts and the coolant. The diffs, transfer case, and trans are the important ones to do in 30k intervals, if 2wd it’s just trans and rear diff which is even easier. If you have a few tools you can do it in a day easily and parts/fluids should come out to less than $200, even less if 2wd. I would go to Walmart and not an auto parts store to get the fluids, check rockauto for parts.
