Straight bleach does not kill mold. You have to mix it with water. You can use a 10:1 water to bleach ratio, or if you don't like the smell of bleach, Hydrogen Peroxide will also kill it with repeated applications. After 2-3 days the black mold will turn grey and die.

laundry bleach is a aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite, I find it is a very good mold killer and cleaner right out of the bottle.
Adding more water makes it a safer application. I have tried a 50- 50 mix and it does not work as well or as fast as full strength
laundry bleach. This is just my experience , your mileage may vary.

Straight bleach and a brush should do the trick. You don't have to dilute it.
