Been busy with trips, work, and tournaments lately so I haven't put up a report in a while but Palestine is fishing good! I've caught fish the last couple weeks on docks, timber, and brush. There's been several folks on the bridge everytime I go by there so that's usually a good sign they're there too. I've been using 7' Jenko Trick Sticks to shoot docks armed with a 1/16oz jig head and a Constant Pursuit Outfitters Thump Chubby in Shadowboy, White Hot, or Ghost Minnow. They haven't been knocking slack in the line this year, but mainly loading the rod up and you know you have one. Timber and brush I'm using 11' Kevin Rodgers rods by Jenko armed with 1/8oz slab syndicate jigs in Bad Shad, Ginger Truce, and Purple Passion. Fish are starting to stack up more on timber and brush so I will be focusing on that more often as it warms up. I haven't been on Fork since Crappie Masters and can't remember when I was on LOP last but I'm heading that way soon and looking forward to it! Head to Lake Washington for ACT this weekend. I have June 29th left and day's available in July if you want to try and get after a mess of slabs!

Palestine was tough to me today but LOP treated us nice yesterday! 3 boat trip and 150 hit the table!! Haven’t been on Pines in quite a while!

Still beating em down on Palestine!! Main lake timber has been the ticket! I’m using 1/4pz hand ties past few trips. Bad Shad and ginger truce. I still have next weekend available and the weather looks great! Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Hey Todd who is it that makes those jigs you're using, not that I need anymore,lol!

Chris with Slab Syndicate makes the jigs I use in tournaments. I make the jigs I use on trips myself. Bob Young used to make my jigs before he passed and then Pappy at lake Fork the same. I don’t sell mine. I can’t keep up with what I use on trips! Is only know how Chris looks at that vice every day! I couldn’t do it!
