The escapee was captured in Evansville. The Corrections Officer passed away from self inflicted gunshot. I think everyone felt it would not end well for her one way or the other!

I cannot even begin to imagine what she was thinking. Very sad situation....SMH

She decided to help a very dangerous man escape his deserved fate and now she has answered for that. She was just as dangerous as him in some ways. She played the game, she collected her prize.

I agree, she could have sold her house for fair market value, took her retirement and moved to the beach like she had planned.
But.... I have seen some people do some really stupid things because of the opposite sex. From younger years to older and suppose to be more mature people. It happens everyday across this country in small towns, big cities. Maybe not a sheriff taking an convicted convict, but man or woman having to have it all and forgets that for every action there is an reaction.

She saw something there that most people dont see. He is not a handsome fellow IMO! Like the old Jeff Foxworthy bit- A Dangerous Man!

There was an infamous escape by a prisoner and the prison warden’s wife in Oklahoma. I believe they were finally captured in East Texas after 10 years or so. It happens, I just don’t understand it.
