Took my dad out to one of my favorite bank spots on Tawakoni this morning. Got out early on a south facing bank with a strong wind in our face. The thread fin shad were thick on the rocks. Could have dipped a bucket and caught plenty to fish with. Caught 20 eaters in about 4 hours. With the lake being low, I don’t think we were ever in any more than 4 feet of water. They were still biting when I had to pack up to make a meeting. Refilled the deep freeze from what we ate on Mother’s Day.

I caught a few nice ones on Tawakoni last Saturday myself.

Nice work. Fishing with the wind in your face these days makes casting a challenge! You could just about get a lead back in your face!
