Due to recent hail damage. I'm liking this style. Anyone familiar with or have a metal tile roof?

Y’all got native palm trees down there in Belton? Sweeet! Mom had to replace the tile roof on her castle in Naples, FL, ran her just a tick under $100K!

go with real standing seam IMHO Best roof around but unless you already have a real high end roof the extra cost to get one just isn’t worth it imho. If you already have a tile roof or something similar I would definitely look into standing seam option. Also make sure if your going standing seam that the company you hire does a lot of them. I’ve seen a few put on by roofers that said they do them and had no business trying to install one.

I'm still waiting on coils.

Standing seam is crazy expensive.
I'd just go with traditional shingles if it was me. If you have crazy money, get whatever you like. I tried to use Erie roofs (metal tiles) and they were awful to deal with. Ended up cancelling and going with more traditional option.

Update: Can't do the metal roof. Prices are insane! I could pay a bunch of different roof damage deductibles for the dollar difference between metal and architectural shingles. Say la vie.
