I fished three US opens on Mead, so that's the extent of my time here. Drew the worst partner ever, and that is saying a lot, because I've drawn some real doofuses.

Gravymaker is from here, but she passed on this trip, doing a trade show. I don't stay in casinos. I have learned to just stay with the hen, she's death on keno machines. Watching paint dry is more exciting but I don't argue her success with it.

Wind is scary bad, watched a couple of semis go up on one side, the poor schmoes dragging travel trailers should have stayed home.

I boated on the lake a couple times fishing but it was a trihull built for pleasure.
We never caught much doing that.
We had a honey hole on one point that was good for bass on the S&S spinners, black and white. I remember a few times filling an Igloo cooler with bass back then, fishing off the bank.
We also fished below the dam in the river. We did catch trout out of that boat a number of times.

This was as a military brat. My father retired from Nellis AFB in 1968 after 27 years in the service.
