 lake Tawakoni new SRA boat ramp (Old Holiday marina)

Has anybody heard when this new ramp will be open to use. On google earth, it looks pretty much finished.

Fished in there last week. The ramp and dock look great along with the huge striped parking lot. They dug out the ramp area so it's very nice and deep= but be careful on the sides because the dirt they dredged is along the sides of the ramp and it's shallow enough to see the bottom (2'). Perfect place to hold tournaments or for a lot of ppl to utilize with bank parking for the boats. I'll be glad when it opens, just hope it's not a pay per use type deal.

Holiday was not recognizable the last time i was near there. I will put my boat back to twok very soon.

I hope they do charge about $5 a day and add it to the Annual State Park Pass program. Maybe that will keep the catalytic converter thief's out and those people that just want to vandalize and tear stuff up.

I just got off of the phone with SRA Tawak. She said that they are projecting early 2023.

I will be so glad when it opens I hate the parking at the state park because the swimmer take up the boat parking.

I just got off of the phone with SRA Tawak. She said that they are projecting early 2023. WOW, Google Earth shows the parking lot is complete. They must be constructing some bathrooms and/or other buildings.

Jerry, if you use Google map satellite view, that new ramp on the old Holiday land looks IMPRESSIVE. I am guessing it's free like the rsmp at 2 Mile bridge.
