Caught this little guy tonight. Google search showed an article stating "spring 2021 when it received an estimated 337,000". Glad to know things will be getting better !!!

I don't have much exp with yellow bass on Palestine.

Never caught a yellow bass on palestine until the white bass kill a few years ago and now they are everywhere. The stocking from last year has absolutely taken off. Have seen widespread schooling in three completely different areas of the lake the last month and yesterday actually caught some small ones that look like they were from more recently. Some of the ones from last year are amazingly already 14-15” since we supposedly did not get any for the previous 3 years. Next few years should make up for the last few lean years if we dont get any more spring time floods that send them in mass over the spillway.

Does anybody have a picture of a small, juvenile hybrid? I’d like to see one and how it compares to mature white bass.
