Tried Those Unusual Shaped Trapper Hooks!

On this day I used several different rigs and all fish were released. I did notice the hooked fish didn't show any signs of stress or had hook generated tearing where the hook penetrated. So i'm guessing it's a good hook style to use if you want to release your catch safely afterwards. Just had to try a few as it's an offbeat type of design. And i found taking the hooks back out to be easy & fast so less damage was incurred to the fish.
