Got a late start this morning. Launched at 9 A.M. Some shad still shallow around Temple Lake Park launch. Caught my fish on light shaky head rigged 4" shad colored swim bait. Best fish 2.5 lb. Small Mouth in Rogers Park area. 2 keeper length largemouth and 3 other short LM. Surface activity was pretty much non existent. Think it could have been good early when shad were shallow. Water temp 75.5 at start and 78.5 at 2 P.M. Lake level down 3.82 feet.
