Hello all. I was fishing yesterday and placed a bass in my live well, filled it up and every so often, water would shoot out the back of the boat. i have a 2007 Triton 20x2 and on the right side of the driver's seat is some sort of water valve that says open or close. This is the first time using the live wells since i just recently bought the boat. any ideas will help. Thanks

you might have a livewell pump out system. It for putting water in your weigh in bag or just letting some water out of your livewells.

put it on close, fill livewell about 3/4 full and shut down the pump, that valve just lets you fill or empty the livewell.

if you have a timer on the pump check it, make sure it is not running full time.

you also may have just overfilled the livewell and it is sloshing into the bilge. sounds like it was bilge pump coming on if it was not putting out water full time.
