Caught my first three fish in nine months. Had shoulder surgery, and a blown motor that had to be rebuilt that kept me off the water. Caught three today while doing motor break-in. Smallmouth, mean mouth, or Guadalupe? If that's a guad it's a monster and close to the state record. Looks more like a mean mouth than smallie, but a nice catch either way!

Smallmouth, mean mouth, or Guadalupe? If that's a guad it's a monster and close to the state record. Looks more like a mean mouth than smallie, but a nice catch either way! Plus #1. Side Note: Always a GREAT when you get to fish. Again nice fish!

I think it was a smallmouth. Looked and fought like the ones I catch on Erie. Never seen a mean mouth so I have nothing to judge by.
